Re: Finally ... Rochester CraigsList
Mon, April 4, 2005 - 11:19 AMWhen asking for advice on where to find an apartment in SF, the first place EVERYONE tells you to look is an craigslist. Looking for a job in the Bay Area: craigslist
Generally, craigslist is (primarily) the classifieds, targetted for a certain area. Tribe is communities, socal networks, etc. Sure, maybe you can sell a monitor on the Rochester tribe, but you can also get a flood of crap intsead of a nice little email summary of jobs in Rochester. -

Re: Finally ... Rochester CraigsList
Sat, May 7, 2005 - 7:44 AMAs someone who moved from Rochester to SF, yes that was the same response I got from everyone here. SF and the bay area has been using craigslist for quite a while for apartments, jobs, sex, and "for sale" items. Its the first place most employers go when looking for employees. Its the first place most people go when looking for an apartment.
Its definitely an effective tool here in SF and hope it catches on in Rochester. The hardest part will be getting people searching the postings as well as using it to its full capacity.
Id recommend spening some time checking out the SF craigslist just to give you an idea of everything on it.
